An introduction to the life of Samuel by highlighting the dire circumstances in Israel at the time that God calls Samuel. what was right in their own eyes and society was torn apart because of it.
But David found strength in the Lord his God. 1 Samuel 30:6
We just cant seem to believe that God is who he says he is – so we paint brushstrokes over him making him look different so that he’s easier for us to accept. Good news is that he also paints a brushstroke over us- the blood of Jesus.
The story of Hannah challenges us to find our place in God ‘s mega-story. Your life and experiences can fit into God ‘s story of the world if you understand how to respond to God in true worship. Hannah was an ordinary woman facing real-life issues but was used by God to bring about change at a critical junction in the history of Israel. (1 Samuel 1)
