Sincere assumptions are dangerous things because you can be sincerely wrong. Sincerity is no guarantee that our worship is pleasing to God. In Part 2 of our series on genuine worship we unpack further the account in John 4 as we look at worship in truth. Worship in truth is worship that squares with the reality of who God as is as He has revealed Himself. God is dishonoured if we are worshipping an idolatrous figment of our imaginations! Worship is always a response to revelation. We unpack what it means for the Word of God to be central in our times of corporate worship as we preach read and sing the truth. True worship demands that we respond with lives of worship!
