Description
We just cant seem to believe that God is who he says he is – so we paint brushstrokes over him making him look different so that he’s easier for us to accept. Good news is that he also paints a brushstroke over us- the blood of Jesus.

I’m not holy enough…
I’m not moral enough..
I’m not strong enough…
The longer we live our sense of inadequacy piles up. The sermon on the mount sets the bar so high that none of us can come away feeling sufficient. Jesus requirements are impossible for us to meet. After the sermon on the mount the story of Jesus healing the leper illustrates Jesus willingness and desire to make us clean – despite our utter inadequacy. Matthew 8

We were made to be mirrors not for mirrors
When we look at Gods story – His Story we can see that God has made is for Glory. But we have fallen from glory. Now we search for glory. But we will only find glory in Christ – he is the hope of glory.
