Prayer has many mysteries. One such mystery is: why pray if God already knows what is going to happen? In this message we will explore three answers to the question why pray? and we will also unpack some of the reasons why we struggle to pray. (Matthew 6:5-9; Philippians 4:6-7; James 5:16b)
(Acts 13:1-5) The Syrian Antioch Church sent out two of their best leaders to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ in previously unreached areas. For a young church with a congregation consisting primarily of Gentiles this was a big step. How did they come to such a bold decision? This message looks at some of the key ingredients in finding God ‘s will for our personal lives as well as knowing what God expects of our church.
